Adolescents Economic Empowerment Specialist
World Vision Tanzania seeks highly qualified candidates for an anticipated five-year donor funded project with key objectives to increase empowerment, reduce exploitation and abuse, increase uptake of ASRHR services, including Nutrition & HIV and Increased Economic Opportunities through skills development, job creation, policy and capacity building. The project is anticipated to be implemented in Dar es Salaam and Dodoma. The anticipated project aims:
Adolescents Economic Empowerment Specialist will be responsible to directly execute and provide technical advice on adolescent economic empowerment project activities. This entail workplan activities implementation and operations to achieve the intended program results and impact with timely reporting as per approved project design document and log frame in a cost-effective manner, while maintaining a high level of excellence and accountability. He/she will specifically be accountable on the project efforts to achieve enhanced gender equitable participation of vulnerable adolescents aged 15-19 years, particularly girls, in labour market and entrepreneurship programs. In addition, Adolescents Economic Empowerment Specialist will take part in monitoring and evaluation activities per approved project plan. procedures and donor requirements. Furthermore, Adolescents Economic Empowerment Specialist will work with partners and Local and central government actors, and interaction with the wider project stakeholders. This position is contingent on the confirmation of funding from the donor. | ||
