The government has said next week it will advertise 32,000 jobs in sectors that have a severe shortage of staff.
The pledge was tabled in Parliament on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 by the Minister of State for the President's Office for Personnel and Good Governance, Jenista Mhagama where she said President Samia Suluhu Hassan has issued an employment permit.
Minister Mhagama has given the answers arising from many additional questions by MPs asked in the Ministry of Tamisemi wanting to know how the Government will send staff to fill vacancies in many facilities built in the country.
"Mr. Chairperson, first of all I would like to congratulate the Deputy Minister for his positive response, but the Government planned to hire 44,000 staff for this financial year, and we have already hired 12,000 staff and now announce that next week I will advertise 32,000 jobs," said Mhagama.
